- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆SOUTHERN LAKES CREDIT UNION REQUIRES A THUMBPRINT TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT! After the long process of beginning a new savings account I was told by the twenty-something with zero customer service skills that "uh, all that's left is we need your thumbprint." I asked why. She answered, "Uh, I think it has something to do with 9/11." I closed the account and went on my way. AVOID Southern Lakes at all costs!By Darryl Casey, June 10, 2017
